Alternative Provision
We can arrange a package of Alternative Provision taking into account where the young person currently is on their education journey. We are a needs-based provision and our experienced practitioners can assess and adapt as during the session to go at a pace that works for the individual. We have strong relationships with multiple schools in the local area. All of our young people are carefully matched with a practitioner or a team if this is more beneficial to them. We work in partnership with schools and families to create a plan moving forward taking into account the young person at the centre.

What is our Approach?
Trauma- Informed
When a young person is being referred to our service there is often an element of trauma during their education journey. We pride ourselves on being trauma informed and a needs-based service rather than a diagnosis-based service.
Young Person Paced
All of our young people are individuals and have their own pace. Our experienced practitioners can assess and adapt depending on the current and past needs of the young person. Taking time to get to know them and what approach works best.
Bespoke Timetable
Each young person will have their own timetable to meet their individual needs. Taking into account the outcomes we are working towards
Flexible
We offer a flexible but structured approach. We are aware that needs change session to session depending on what else the young person is managing. Sometimes this needs adaptations during the session itself. We look at long term and short term outcomes. Alongside supporting the young person as a whole.
Transition Support
We offer bespoke transition support. This could be for the young person during their session or to move on to another placement. We can attend meetings to support this where appropriate.
Low Demand
We work with clear expectations with a Low Demand approach. To reduce stress and anxiety. This promotes positive engagement. We can then build a connection with the young person to enable them to feel safe and understood.
Highly Trained Practitoners
All Practitioners are matched to their young people by the Co-Founders.
Each young person will have a team of consistent practitioners around them.
All of the Purple Advisory Care team have extensive knowledge and training.

Interest Focused
We take time to get to know our young people. While working towards the outcomes/targets set. We do our best to adapt these to be interest based and differentiated to how the young person learns best. Including regulation time into each session.
"We Believe in Every Young Person's Potential: Giving Them the Tools, Support, and Skills to Build Their Own Future."

Who do we work with?
Schools
Local Authorities
Parent/Carers
Purple Advisory Care works in partnership with schools to create a bespoke package to support both the organisation and young person's needs.
We also offer EOTAS packages to work directly with families.
As part of the package this would include report writing and meeting attendance where appropriate.
NEW FOR 2025
Our team is trained as Mental Health First Aiders because we believe that mental well-being is just as important as physical health. Supporting young vulnerable people means being there not only for their practical needs but also for their emotional well-being.
Our Mental Health First Aiders are equipped to recognise the signs of mental distress, provide immediate support, and guide individuals towards professional help when needed. By fostering a culture of openness and understanding, we create a safe space where young people feel heard, valued, and supported.
Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and having trained staff ensures that no one has to struggle alone. Together, we’re breaking down stigma, encouraging conversations, and making a real difference in the lives of those we support.
