Arezu Roxburgh

Jemma Quarterman
Co- Founding Director
Arezu is a dedicated professional with extensive knowledge in childhood development and over 25 years of experience supporting the SEND community. With a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies, she has worked in diverse roles across schools, social care, and community settings, focusing primarily on neurodivergent individuals.
Her personal connection to the SEND experience, growing up with a sibling with complex needs, fuels her passion for creating a needs-focused approach in care and education. Arezu is committed to bridging gaps and breaking down barriers that hinder access to community and educational opportunities.
Jemma brings 20 years of invaluable experience in SEND support services, working with neurodivergent children, young people and adults focusing on those with complex communication needs. Her expertise has recently expanded to include supporting individuals with complex mental health challenges, utilising a trauma-informed approach.
Personal experience, stemming from her own family, means Jemma is also conversationally competent in British Sign Language. Her passion lies in building robust support networks for those at Purple Advisory Care and their families, ensuring they have meaningful opportunities to engage with their communities and enrich their lives.
